Verbal Communication • What types of positive verbal communication did you observe? • What type of negative verbal communication did you observe? • Give at least three examples using information from Chapter 3 (especially pages 107-114). 2. Nonverbal Communication • What positive and negative nonverbal communication did you observe? • Provide at least three examples using information from Chapter 4 (especially pages 138-150). 3. Active Listening • Review page 179 in chapter 5 for characteristics of effective and ineffective listeners. • Is this person an effective listener? Why or why not? Give at least two examples from your conversation to support your statement. Create Power Point presentation with at least six slides covering the three topics above. Please narrate your Power Point, describing your experience, answering the questions, and providing examples. Alternatively, if you do not have recording capability, you can provide a one and a half-page paper with your Power Point presentation (half page for each topic listed). Grading Guideline: • 40 Points Content (5 points for each example/question answered).
